A very simplistic understanding of how business works. The author uses a story to illustrate the theme of group work and enthusiasm. Of course, real business management requires more work. But the concepts explained in this book do have their place at the worker and foreman level.

Very corny and condescending. However, it does have some good points summarized in the last pages. Go to the library and read them instead of buying this book.

It has some good points. But the One Minute manager is a pretty testy & impatient fellow. As with most books by Ken Blanchard & Co., following the advice in the One Minute Manager without understanding the complexities of management would make you a really unpopular person in the company.

This uses golf and a fairy godmother (actually a male godmother) as the background for showing how customer service can be improved. Worse than useless. Life is too precious to waste on books that romanticize business issues without proper research and analysis.
